Canadian Association of Veterinary Pathologists Annual Meeting

This year’s annual meeting of the Canadian Association of Veterinary Pathologists took place on our home turf – here in Guelph. Dr. Maria Spinato from the Animal Health Laboratory had organized a diverse set of talks covering a wide spectrum of veterinary pathology topics. Dr. Brandon Plattner gave an overview of the immunology of the gastrointestinal tract, Dr. Murray Hazlett masterfully merged monsters with swine pathology, I contributed reviews of lymphocytic and histiocytic disorders and some of our graduate students and Dr. Jan Shapiro presented a series of excellent case reports. Thank you Maria for organizing a lovely meeting and Rebecca, Emma and Laura for contributing great cases.
